My Practice

Aux Jardins de Beltainn - le Geste, la nature, l'Equilibre

Pluridisciplinarity

Because every being and every situation is unique, it's important to be able to provide you with a solution and assistance that is equally unique.

I believe it's essential to be able to provide you with support, whatever your situation, your environment, your pet's species, its temperament, its experiences, or its challenges.

That's why, over the years, I've focused my practice on several techniques that complement and enrich each other, providing you and/or your pet with reliable, effective, gentle, and respectful assistance.

Classical Chinese Medicine - Acupressure

Acupressure involves using various forms of gentle, non-invasive touch to work and stimulate specific points along the meridians that run beneath the skin's surface. This work aims to support the body's natural functioning and help it regain its balance.

My work is to understand, through the body's various signs and manifestations, the current situation and its excesses or deficiencies in order to support and help the body regain its balance. To do this, I use several tools at my disposal. The first is a dialogue accompanied by a series of questions, which can sometimes be unusual and which provide information about the animal's habits, preferences, environmental management, etc.

Next come observation, listening, smelling, and palpation, which will also provide information about the current situation. All of this data will gradually form connections and highlight patterns. Reading this information will allow me to choose the points to work on and thus help your pet.

Acupressure is a technique that takes into account the individual as a whole—their physiognomy, temperament, life history, background, preferences and habits, as well as their environment, activity, etc.
Each session is therefore personalized, and the care provided to your pet will depend on their situation and progress.

Some responses are rapid, such as relaxation or improved circulation; however, most benefits occur over the course of several sessions targeting a specific situation.

Classical Chinese Medicine - WuXing

Also known as the 5 Movements, 5 Phases, or 5 Element Theory, Wu Xing is one of the pillars of Chinese Medicine. It could be defined in part as the art of understanding the elemental blend of each being.

In Chinese Medicine, the 5 elements are paramount when we wish to understand how a being functions, reacts, and balances/unbalances itself.

Each person, each living being, has their own blend of the 5 Elements. The quantity and quality of each element differs for each being, but we all have these 5 elements within us, always.

It is this blend, unique to each person, that actively contributes to our personality, our way of being and reacting.

No element is better or stronger than the others; each has its strengths and weaknesses, but all work together to form a dynamic balance.

Various events and situations can disrupt this balance (periods of stress, illness or accident, fatigue, life stages, changes, etc.). These events will create a cascade of reactions and manifestations over time, whether emotional and/or physical.

WuXing allows you to better understand your own elemental blend, or your companion's, and how each element expresses itself through your emotions and your body. This analysis helps you understand how they can influence your daily life, your health, and your physiological and emotional functioning.

It also gives you the tools to use each of them wisely, in order to find true well-being and a better life, with simple and practical advice on a daily basis.

Chinese Energetic work

Energy work is performed remotely for both humans and animals.

It draws on the theoretical foundations of classical Chinese medicine to understand existing physical and emotional imbalances and uses traditional Chinese Energetic to eliminate potential blockages in the meridians, allowing or restoring better circulation of Qi (vital energy) in the body and supporting it to regain its balance and natural dynamics.

This work offers the body and being the opportunity to find better balance, more energy, and real physiological and emotional well-being. This method can be complementary to acupressure for your companions, it works wonderfully with WuXing, and is just as appropriate and effective for you as it is for your animals.

NB: This is not animal communication, but rather work that is similar to an acupressure session. That being said, it sometimes offers a safe space where your companion can express himself and convey what he wants.

Likewise, these sessions are neither face-to-face nor online with the guardian.

Animal Naturopathy

Naturopathy is a term that encompasses many techniques, all of which aim to enable the body, through natural methods, to regain its balance and optimal functioning.

Each technique within naturopathy offers its own specific characteristics and strengths, reflecting the diversity of nature.

In order to offer you a coherent and useful sphere of expertise, I have chosen to focus my practice on gemmotherapy (use of plant buds), phytotherapy, aromatherapy (hydrosols & essential oils), and the use of flower essences (Bach Flowers®).

To be precise, I use naturopathy as a complement to acupressure and/or Chinese energy therapy. It is therefore only used when necessary and if your pet's situation lends itself to it.

Likewise, if your animal is currently being monitored by your veterinarian and is receiving allopathic treatment, it will be necessary to obtain the latter's approval, in order to avoid drug interactions and/or synergies.
